Chill Roller Basis Information
The chill roll acts as a water-cooled cylinder designed to dissipate heat from hot melt films.
Chill rollers find extensive application in the master casting processes of BOPP, BOPET, BOPA, BOPS, and BOPI biaxial oriented stretching lines, as well as longitudinal stretching systems. They play a pivotal role in cooling and solidifying the molten polymer during its transformation into a thin film, ensuring uniform thickness, flatness, and overall film quality.
